Cute Kenya Refunds and Returns Policy

This is our Refunds and Returns Policy page. At Cute Kenya, we are committed to providing authentic, high-quality travel maps to help you explore Kenya and beyond. Every map we sell is sourced from trusted vendors and verified for authenticity before delivery.

Because maps are physical printed materials, we have a strict but fair policy for returns and refunds. Please read carefully before placing your order.

Eligible Returns & Refunds

We accept returns or refunds only under the following conditions:

  • You received the wrong map (different from what you ordered).
  • The map arrived damaged in transit (e.g., torn, water-damaged, heavily creased). For this, Once we hand over your order to the courier or postal service, the responsibility for safe delivery passes to the buyer. We are not responsible for delays, damage, or loss caused by third-party couriers or postal services. If you would like to insure your shipment against damage or loss, please request this at the time of ordering. Additional charges may apply.
  • The map was defective or misprinted in a way that makes it unusable.

In such cases, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at hello@cutekenya.com (subject line: “Refunds and Returns”), including your order details and photos of the issue.

Non-Refundable Situations

We cannot accept returns or issue refunds if:

  • You changed your mind after purchase.
  • You decided the map is no longer needed after opening it.
  • You purchased the wrong map due to an incorrect selection or address provided.
  • Normal wear and tear (minor creases, folds, or handling marks) occur after delivery.

Return Shipping

  • If the return is approved (wrong item, damaged, or defective), we will guide you on how to return the map.
  • In most cases, return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility, except when the error was ours.

International Orders

For buyers outside Kenya, please note that we are not responsible for delays or additional fees (such as customs duties or taxes). Refunds cannot be issued due to customs-related issues or delays once the item has been shipped.
